Back to back is what I'm calling this one. This is 11 of 100 of The Quest for 100 in 2015. Right after finishing a full out attack on No. 10(Sasi piece), he stays in theZone and rocks a quick silver before packing up his bags and leaving. Quick glow effect on the solid 3-D with a few lines to add more depth. 2 color clouds on the background and a yellow forcefield finish the piece. Click on the flicks to enlarge. Till next time..
The saga continues... Boy do I have a cool one for you guys today. I'm going to call this one - "The Guns Still Hot". Here's Zone'snew entry for The Quest for 100 in 2015. This is no. 10 of 100. On this particular piece he pays homage to his wife and the Queen B of the WST crew Sase. Check out the steez on this one with the curled up bar on the letter "A" and an arrow running thru it. #Genious He also went full commando with a B-Boy letter "I" holding a smoking gun and rocking a gatsby hat. I was able to witness the onslaught on this one from the start and got to film and document. I couldn't stand still with straight funk going on so I asked Zone if I could help add a few shines and doo-dads to the back ground and force field. The day was a hot on the rooftop so we kept it light cracking jokes the whole time. This was also one of the last days to paint at the old Thrift Trader before they closed. The day, finished with some silver…. Stay tune for the story, flicks and update. In the mean time enjoy the video.
Playing catch up at this point, but my man continues the madness. Here is the update on The Quest for 100 in 2015. This is No. 9 of 100. Here we got a classic color scheme by Zone mixing up his signature pastel colors with an avocadogreen on the fill. One point perspective 3-D with a light orange fill and black lines to pop it out. Im really feeling this one right here. It just got's that classic graff feel. No stiffness or Photoshop/Illustrator thoughts here. Stay tune for new updates and a special treat for No. 10.
Here we go with one of my favorite acoustic sessions. I'm talking about the Jussbuss Acoustic Session series. Don't sleep and check out their previous sessions. This is the recent episode with Protoje and his band Indiggnation for the acoustic session. You definitely see his love/influence for Hip Hop towards the end. Hit play, sit back and enjoy this one.
Here we go with another update on my man Zone going for 100 burners in 2015. This is No. 8 of 100. Here he goes in on another piece and B-Boy character combo(My favorite). Cool blues and a sherbet orange comprise the 3 color fade. Simple bubble designs and B-Boy character compliment the composition. Stay tune for more as my man continues his assault.

In and out… Just a lil glow on the 3-D and a 2 tone cloud. Until next time. Hope your enjoying this ride. I know I am. Stay tune for more to come… #TheQuestFor100 #ZoneWST #ILoveMeSomeSilver

Zone-WST x The Quest for 100 in 2015 x No. 6 of 100.
Here we go with another update on my man Zone's quest to rock 100 pieces in 2015. This is number 6 of 100 and I think it's my favorite so far. Got to dig the 3 colors fade of dark purple into plum to orange/red. The orange tones on the 3-D going to the right and light yellow outline compliment the color scheme to the max. Don't sleep on another B-Boy character to keep things honest in this quest. Big salute to my mello my man Zone. Keep it rocking and stay tune for more flicks and stories. Enjoy.
Booyaka Shot! It's here, it's out. The New Protoje album titled: "Ancient Future" produced by Winta James.
I was able to catch Protoje perform with the Indiggnation Band as part of the Chronixx - Dread & Terrible West Coast Tour. Let me just say this, I would have paid what I paid for the show, just to see Protoje. The band, the back up sistren singers and Protoje with his own style, owning di stage. Fyah!
For this album the yardi went back to yard to write most of his album. The same place where he dreamed as a young boy to do music. The album continues the trend of the previous other 2 of partnering himself with top notch current artist. The list includes: Mortimer, Chronixx, Sevana, Jesse Royal, & Kabaka Pyramid!
The feel of the album has different eras of reggae. From Ska, to present Steppas Jah Soldier riddims. There is even a lil Hip Hopboom bap sprinkled in there which he says comes from his love of Hip Hop.Protoje expands on how he flipped Slick Rick's"La-di-da-di we like to party" to "La-di-da-di we nah join no party" talking about Jamaica's 2 political parties. On a scale of 1 thru 5 considering it has one of the biggest anthems "Who Know's" Featuring Chronixx and ends the album with Bevel Rock's own Kabaka Pyramid, Im going to have to give this a solid 5 General Stars. Here's the link to cop it and support right now: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/ancient-future/id962614411
I'll leave you guys with a small interview/documentary about the project. Enjoy.
"I'de rather be spiritually attained than critically acclaimed" - Protoje
Zone1 x DazeRoc x The Quest for 100 in 2015 x No. 5 of 100
As we continue the ride here's one that I was grateful to get on. Zone's has always been my PIC in the WST crew as we've painted a lot and every where together. As he challenges himself with the 100 burner challenge it was fun to get in on the festivities. Zone chose the colors this time and we went with the purple fill and Yard Master - Gadabout Green for the sorbet cool outline. Shout out to my brother Range - FUA out in Rochester. Enjoy the video at the end of the story.
