Here's a cool one right here.  These are some flicks I got from the recent art show "Sopita de Letras" at the Centro Cultural de la Raza.  The show was curated by Chale and was based on the letters of the spanish alphabet.   A great ensemble of artist was selected and each artist was given a letter to do.
     I was honored and extremely thankful to be among the artist.  My name drew the letter "I".  I went with a lower case "i" on a 24" x 36" canvas.  I used spray paint, paint markers, & special glow in the dark paint for fun in the dark.  The canvas lights up once the lights go off.  The show runs thru May 8th with a closing reception in case you missed out or are in the area.  Special salute to the organizing committee for the opportunity and the support of the show (Ayler, Chale, Mex, Spic, Oldie, Tommy Ramirez, Aida Soria, & Zane).  I don't have flicks of all the pieces since my camera was tripping, but here are most of them.  Enjoy!

Another day, another mission.  Here we go again with the
Quest for 100 in 2015.  This in No. 20 of 200 and marks that he's 20% done with the challenge.  Looks like another mission with Lords partner Style and by the way of things Style might be going for 100 in 2015 himself.  This is another favorite for me.  Digging all the flavorful colors down to the background on this one.  Bright and colorful like I like them.  Dope spot, dope mission.  Stay tune to see what's next.

Here we go with No. 18 of 100 in The Quest for 100 in 2015.  Classic signature pastel colors on the fill and one point perspective 3-D bang this piece out.  B-Boy character watch over the background and burner.  Really nice one and another favorite for sure.  Can't wait to see what's next.  Enjoy!

Oooh weeee.  Here we go again!  Another back to back mission.  So after rocking No. 16 earlier in the day he has a few snacks ands heads on over to No. 17 of 100.  Man, Im loving this one.  Crazy colors on the fill with ice cold turquoise 3-D.  Insane white outline with black as the outer outline for contrast. Man I'm shaking my head.  WST supplemental letters and B-Boy character round off the all out assault.    5 Star salute on this one.  Stay tune for more as my man continues...

Here's one that I've been wanting to share with you guys for quite sometime now.  Finally got around to going thru the footage and made a lil video for you guys to enjoy.  It had been a while since I rocked a B-Boy mugsy character and I was determine to pull it off.  I threw a Kangol on him to keep it Hip Hop and was pleased with the final result.  For the main fill I used Ironlaks: Keen, Tues-Afterburn, & Pose-Sushi.  I tried something new on the 3-D and hit my one point perspective with a bunch of turquoise tones that I had laying around. I think I used over 5 colors on the 3-D.  This was a bit challenging since I had to hit every line at the right angle.  After I got that right I came back and gave it a quick white highlight in the center of all the 3-D chunks.  For the back ground I just used some almost empty cans and threw in a few bubbles for good old school measure.  Check out the video below and thanks for checking in.  One Love.

New update on Zone's Quest for 100 in 2015.  Were starting with the flick at the top to point out how bad these toys treat the yards and how they blow the spots up.  Not that hard to pack up your shit cans when your done getting up.  It helps everyone...
With that said lets get back to it.   This is No. 16 of 100 in the Quest for 100 in 2015.  Nice and quick, in & out.  Quick silver steez with glowing 3-D.  2 color cloud surround the piece.  There's a really crazy story about this mission and this yard.  For detail from the horses mouth check out his documentation of the project at 100PieceProject.com  Enjoy!

1, 2.  1, 2.  Back at it again with another update.  This is No. 15 of 100 in The Quest for 100 in 2015.  This one looks smooth and silky.  Cool and deadly with another silver that he's calling "Quick Funk".  Dark purple outline with shadows fades on the overlapping bars.  Hot pink designs and orange force field add contrast to the piece.  So simple yet so dope.  Really like this one.   Keep it going General.  Stay tune for the next update.

Here we go again…  Going to keep this one short and sweet.  Classic 3 color fade on the fill.  Dig the use of white, something I don't use enough as a fill.  Also feeling the red hot glowing technique on the 3-D.  This is Zone's  No. 14 of 100 in The Quest for 100 in 2015.  Stay tune for the next update.

Once again, I'm back with another progress report on Zone's Quest for 100 in 2015.  This is No. 13 of 100.  One thing that needs to be said is the miles that my man will cover in this quest.  I think constantly looking for a new spot to paint or just A spot to paint will be harder than if he has enough paint or the time to pull this off.  Long hikes, long drives, shucking and jiving through brush, scouting missions…  This alone needs to be commended.   

For this mission the theme was silver & large.  Painting on corrugated steel panel always suck, but you always got to be ready to roll with what you get.  I think going large was a good thing in this particular instance.  Lords partner in crime STYLE came in on the mission and Angel Once provided the Angry Elephants.  Enjoy and see you on the next update.

It's been a minute since I hit you guys with a segment we call, "Bars in the Booth".  This particular segment is different from past episodes in that it has 2 MC's inside the booth.  We are blessed with the Barrel Brothers - Skyzoo & Torae repping Brooklyn, NY.  Premier hits them with a smooth horn hit that tells them to slow flow you guys to death.  Put on the headphones for this one and inhale the beat.  #CopItChopItAndFlip  #Premier

Here we go again with another update on my man Zone's quest of 100 burners in 2015.  I'm calling this one "Digidi Straight from the Sewer".  This is No. 12 of 100 in The Quest for 100 in 2015.  Loving the dope flick by the man himself.  Makes me say: "Yo, that place is bomb…".   Classic Zone pastel colors with red hot full turtleshell 3-D on this gem.  Simple designs to keep the mission, in & out..  Stay tune for the next update.  Enjoy the video.
