Zone-WST x The Quest for 100 in 2015

Zone-WST  x  The Quest for 100 in 2015

Here's part 2 of the road trip to El Paso, TX and makes this one 35 out of 100 in Zone's Quest for 100 in 2015.  If you thought my man was driving all the way to El Paso to squeeze just one, you have miss judged his commitment.  Happy to be off a ladder, he pumped this one off with that classic steez that best describes his style.  I love the overlapping ribbon fill and ghetto red hot 3-D.  Arest didn't want to be left behind, so he got it in on the festivities as well.  Zone rounded up the composition with one of his trademark B-Boys between the pieces.  Enjoy and stay tune for more updates!

Zone-WST x The Quest for 100 in 2015

Zone-WST  x  The Quest for 100 in 2015

Back here for another update on Zone's Quest for 100 in 2015.  This is No. 34 of 100.  On this particular episode he went on a road trip to El Paso, TX for the Borderland Jam.  He linked up with my other crew member Arest for a 1, 2 WST punch.  For some reason that I don't understand Zone was put on a ladder to paint his piece.  Still smh…  He ended up keeping it simple to spend as little time on the ladder and I don't blame him.  The piece still came out dope and Arest did some WST letters while Zone rocked one of his old school B-Boy characters.  Enjoy, and stay tune for more updates.

Risk - Old Habits Die Hard

Risk - Old Habits Die Hard
Here's the new released book on famous Los Angeles artist Risk.  This guy was definitely one of my favorites from LA.  I started driving to LA from San Diego in 1986 and remember seeing some of his advanced for the times burners.  He was doing mostly letters which has always been my first love thus identifying with his art.  The book is titled "Old Habits Die Hard" and promises over 350 pages jammed packed with 700+ photos, many never seen before.  The book cover 4 decades of Risk history and that of LA graffiti at the time.  I need to place my order to read the wild chase stories and all the other crazy stuff that came with writing at that time in the hoods of Los Angeles.  The book is available for purchase at 1xrun.com & RiskRock.com.  The book also has several different packages you can choose that includes prints or original artwork.  Congratulations and salute Risk.  Check out the video and enjoy!

Yard Master Spray Pait x Zone1 x DazeRoc

"I Killed Your Style Master"

Here we go again with another update on Zones Quest for 100 in 2015.  This is No. 32 and is titled "I Killed Your Style Master".  On this particular production we decided to go with the beautiful colors of the Yard Master paint.  Colors used on the main fill were: Indian Spice, Brick, & Chippewa.  I also used Pennant Blue & Cascade Green on the 3D and outline with the Black.  Jungle Green was used for the force field and white for the glare lines.    Always good times painting with my brother.  As usual we were planning our attack the night before and Zone came up with  few characters that he changed around to give them more of a B-Boy look.  I finished the production with some WST supplemental letters with a crazy shine in the background that Im actually happy with.  Check out the flicks and the video.  Enjoy and stay tune.  YouKnowMySteez…
