The Red Bull sponsored event was billed as: "Urban Momentum Dance Week 2003" and brought the world's best dancers together to represent all forms of Urban Dance: B-Boying, Funk Styles, Hip Hop, Capoeira, House, and Abstract Moves. The "Momentum Contest Format" is totally unique because it gives dancers the freedom to choose their own music allowing dancers of different styles to compete on a level playing field.
